Sador

The lame bondsman of Húrin

A bondsman and servant of the Húrin of Dor-lómin, and the childhood friend of Húrin's son Túrin.

Notes

1

We don't have a definite date of birth for Sador, though we are told he was a young man at the time of the Dagor Bragollach (I 455). If we take him to be about twenty at that time, his year of birth would be roughly I 435, and he would have been in his thirties and forties when he knew Túrin as a boy. When Túrin returned to Dor-lómin in I 496, Sador is described as an old man; if this chronology holds, he would in fact have been in his sixties at that time.
