The descent of the House of Durin through approximately the last millennium of the Third Age (Durin VI ruled until III 1980, when he was slain by the Balrog of Moria). Before this period, only scant historical records of the House remain, and the only known members are Durin I (called the Deathless, founder of the House) and his descendent Durin III (ally of Celebrimbor in the Second Age). Kings of Durin's Folk are shown in bold text. The line of the descendants of Durin the Deathless, hereditary Dwarven-kings of Durin's Folk.
