The Silent Street of the Houses of the Dead of Minas Tirith ran along a shelf of Mount Mindolluin, that rose directly to the west of the City. It was reached by a steep and winding road that ran down from the Closed Door in the wall of Minas Tirith's sixth circle.

Rath Dínen, the street that ran between Minas Tirith and Mindolluin, on which lay the tombs of the Kings and Stewards of Gondor.
